Mixes it Up with Shake Shack Innovation Kitchen
An automated kiosk with no cashiers nor waiters from Shake Shack Innovation Kitchen
The American fast food chain Shake Shack (https://www.shakeshack.com), born in Madison Square Park just 13 years ago and transformed into a 136-point sales giant worldwide, is launching the first automated kiosk in the Astor Place area of New York.
What was already a store in the chain has been restructured so as not to require staff outside the kitchen (cashiers, waiters and attendants) or payment in cash.
How does it work?
Customers will be able to order through the use of a touchscreen display and, as soon as the order is ready, you will receive a message on your smartphone. This is definitely very convenient not to diminish the queues and offer a more efficient and user friendly experience.
Some orderly will actually remain: the chefs and Hospitality Champs, employees Shake Shack who will give a hand in performing the order to the least accustomed to technology.
“Astor Place’s Shake Shack is a playground where we will experience and learn the changing needs of our customers – explained Shake Shack Ceo Randy Garutti – it represents our dedication to innovation and giving birth to the best for those who work with us and for customers.”
